Our Services
At Bright Sparx Tutoring, we offer fun and supportive small group sessions for children aged 7–11.
Each session is designed to boost confidence, support core subject learning, and prepare for key milestones like SATs. Sessions are tailored to the needs of the group, and we always keep your child’s individual goals in mind.
Sessions are priced per child per session.

SATs Preparation (Year 6)
We know that SATs can feel overwhelming for many children, which is why our SATs support sessions are designed to build confidence as well as knowledge. At Bright Sparx, we focus on teaching key skills in a supportive environment, using past papers and practice questions to help children feel familiar and prepared. We take the time to break down each question, discuss strategies, and encourage a calm, positive approach to the tests.
We also keep parents updated on their child’s progress, offering regular feedback and suggestions for how to support learning at home. Our aim is to ensure every child feels calm, prepared, and confident going into their SATs.
2
Core Subject Tuition
We offer targeted support in core subjects for Key Stage 2 children in Maths and English to help them feel more confident and capable in their everyday learning. Whether your child needs a boost in a particular area or has been identified as needing support through school reports or parents’ evening feedback, we tailor our sessions to meet those specific needs.
Each session focuses on strengthening key skills through engaging, child-led activities. We take time to revisit tricky concepts, fill in gaps, and build strong foundations that support long-term success. Parents are kept in the loop with regular updates and suggestions, helping you feel informed and involved in your child’s learning journey.

Support for children with SEN. *coming soon
We understand that children with additional needs often require a more personalised approach to learning.
At Bright Sparx, we provide supportive small group sessions tailored for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are in mainstream education. These sessions run in a smaller group size (maximum of 5) and are designed to build confidence, reduce anxiety, and help children access the curriculum in a way that works for them.
We take into account any school-based support plans, parent concerns, or feedback from teachers to guide our approach. Through patient, child-led teaching, we aim to create a positive learning experience where every child feels seen, valued, and capable.
